Pursuit Press
AI Policy
Our Policy
At Pursuit Press, we do not use AI to write, rewrite, edit, or design client work. All editing is completed ethically and personally by our team. Our process relies on human expertise, careful review, and professional judgment.
Trust is an important part of the editing relationship. If you have any concerns about our process, we’re happy to discuss them and help you determine whether our approach is the right fit for your needs.
What We Do Use
We use established grammar tools such as Grammarly, ProWritingAid, and PerfectIt for basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation support. These are industry-standard tools that predate generative AI features. We do not use their generative or rewriting functions.
On occasion, we may use AI for limited research support (e.g., fact-checking starting points). Any information gathered this way is independently verified using reputable sources.
We may also use AI for admin or back-end support (e.g., marketing guidance, content planning).
AI Detection
AI detection tools are often unreliable and can produce false positives. Strong, polished writing is frequently flagged, even when no AI has been used. For this reason, we cannot guarantee how a document will perform under AI detection systems.
